Comment : In India today, unfortunately, every married woman's death is terms as a dowry death. IF amarried woman dies of anything other than child birth or heart attack the husband and his family are toast :-(
We somehow have ascribed superhuman lifespans to married women ! They cannot slip from the top floor railing or die due to accidents .. They cannot be fickle minded and commit suicides due to their poor mental make up. IF they did , the husband pushed them down to death .... the husband has to be arrested
IF the husband tried to save a burning woman and sustained Injuries, he will be arrested the moment he is out of the hospital !!
When Yama visits the married woman, he does a stop over at the Husband's life !!!!

It is not about some ghetto or non-descript village cut-off from civilisation. It all happened in the national Capital, Delhi. Three women had to allegedly pay the price for the greed of their in-laws with their lives and a fourth, who was burnt alive, is battling for her life in a hospital with a potentially fatal 85% burns.
And it all happened within 24 hours – a gory reminder that women across Delhi face domestic violence.
"Our women helpline receives on an average 457 calls every day and the issue ranges from domestic violence to property harassment by husbands, eve-teasing among others. However, majority of them are related to domestic violence," said a senior Delhi police officer.
Divya, 26, an MCD teacher was found hanging at her Dwarka Sector 6 flat on Saturday evening. The family members alleged that her husband even removed the body and took her to hospital before the police reached the scene. "The family lives at Rudra Apartment and both husband and wife are teachers at an MCD school," a senior police officer said.
In Mansarovar Park area in east Delhi, 28-year-old, Neetu was found dead at her flat. The family members of the woman alleged that her in-laws had recently demanded Rs. 5 lakh. Neetu, whose husband is a transporter, got married eight years ago and is survived by a boy and a girl.
Mamta, 27, jumped to death from her Triveni Apartment flat in east Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area on Sunday
morning. Initial investigations have revealed that she had an argument with her husband at 11 am after which she went to the first floor and jumped from there."It appears a case of suicide but we are also exploring the case from the angle of a murder. No suicide note has been recovered," a senior police officer said.
"In a separate incident, Najafgarh police confirmed that one Rakhi’s husband set her on fire.
"Victim's in-laws are on the run and the husband has been admitted in the hospital, as he also had burns. Victim, Rakhi, has 85 per cent burn injuries. We will arrest her husband, once he gets discharged from the hospital," a senior police officer said.
