Joshwa's wofe Santhi (28) had some quarrels with him and wife file a case with Kunnam police. Special sub inspector Rajendran was conducting an inquiry. He demanded a bribe of rs. 3000 from the husband . Joshwa complained about this to the Anti bribe / anti graft police who advised him to give chemically treated powder to the inspector. Joshwa did the same and the inspector was arrested by the anti graft police and sent to Trichy jail after raises at his houses

பெரம்பலூர் மாவட்டம் குன்னம் கிராமத்தை சேர்ந்த மாரிமுத்து மகன் ஜோஸ்வா(வயது 34). இவரது மனைவி சாந்தி(28). குடும்ப பிரச்சினை காரணமாக அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் இடையே அடிக்கடி தகராறு ஏற்பட்டது. கடந்த சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்பு கணவன் மனைவி இருவரும் ஒருவர் மீது ஒருவர் குன்னம் போலீசில் புகார் கொடுத்தனர். இந்த புகார் மீது குன்னம் போலீஸ் சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராஜேந்திரன் (53) விசாரணை நடத்தி வந்தார்.

இந்த வழக்கில் சாந்தி கொடுத்த புகாரில், ஜோஸ்வா மீது வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்காமல் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றால் தனக்கு லஞ்சமாக ரூ.3 ஆயிரம் தரவேண்டும் என்று சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராஜேந்திரன் கேட்டு உள்ளார்.

பணம் கொடுக்க விரும்பாத ஜோஸ்வா இதுகுறித்து அரியலூர் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசாரிடம் புகார் கொடுத்தார். லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசாரின் ஆலோசனையின்படி, ரசாயன பவுடர் தடவிய ரூபாய் நோட்டுக்களை நேற்று குன்னம் போலீஸ் நிலையத்தில் வைத்து சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராஜேந்திரனிடம் ஜோஸ்வா கொடுத்தார்.

அப்போது அங்கு மறைந்திருந்த லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர்கள் சக்திவேல், நவநீதகிருஷ்ணன், பிரசன்னவெங்கடேசன் ஆகியோர் கொண்ட குழுவினர் பாய்ந்து சென்று சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராஜேந்திரனை கையும், களவுமாக பிடித்து கைது செய்தனர்.

அவரிடம் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தினர். பின்னர், அரியலூர் மற்றும் அரியலூர் அருகே அசாவீரன் குடிக்காடு கிராமத்தில் உள்ள சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ராஜேந்திரனின் வீடுகளில் சோதனை நடத்தினர். பின்னர் பெரம்பலூர் குற்றவியல் நீதி மன்றத்தில் நீதிபதி சுரேஷ் முன்னிலையில் ராஜேந்திரனை ஆஜர்படுத்தி திருச்சி மத்திய சிறையில் அடைத்தனர்.
