Normally sati sabitris do NOT accept that they eloped or have 'friends' !!!; but some times they are not that smart and they get caught .... in such VERY RARE occasions, divorce is granted !!!
"... On October 10, 2012, the police traced the woman. She was with her paramour and they revealed that they were living together as husband and wife. The man filed a divorce petition in August last year. As the woman did not respond to the petition, the court passed an ex parte order....."

Man granted divorce after wife elopes with her paramour
Rebecca Samervel,TNN | May 12, 2014, 12.19 AMMUMBAI: A family court recently granted divorce to a man on grounds of adultery after his wife admitted that she had eloped with her paramour even as her family had filed a missing complaint following her disappearance.
The couple were married on May 22, 2012 at Satara and returned to the city to live at their home at Vikhroli. In his petition, the man alleged that his wife was disinterested in him and did not even allow him to touch her. Two days after the wedding, he found that she was constantly on the phone. He further alleged that a day later the woman left her cellphone behind as she was visiting a couple of temples. The man claimed that his brother who was home noticed that the cellphone rang every hour and finally when he picked up the call, he heard a man's voice.
He alleged that despite the revelation that his wife was still in touch with her boyfriend, his family tried to convince her to forget him. The man claimed that after the incident, she became quarrelsome and repeatedly disrespected his family members. However, about five months later she suddenly began to behave very affectionately with them. On the evening of October 3, 2012 when her in-laws returned home from market, they realized that she was not home. She was nowhere to be found. Even calls made to her remained unanswered. The next day the man filed a missing complaint.
