Heard learned counsel for the parties.
This application has been filed for quashing the F.I.R. of Civil Line (Gaya) P. S. Case No. 280/08, G.R. No. 2606/08 including the order of cognizance dated 31.8.09 passed by Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gaya whereby cognizance has been taken against the petitioners.

Petitioners are husband and other in-laws of informant. Offence is under sections 498A and 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Counsel for both the parties are there to represent their respective clients and are stating that parties have resolved their differences and as per their decision, they are living separately peacefully. Informant now does not want to pursue the case.
Taking the same into consideration, the application is allowed and the impugned order dated 31.8.2009 including further prosecution is quashed.
