Lakshmanan (45) is a resident of Melaelampatti, near Viralimalai, in pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu. He was working as a manual (coolie) labour and living with his wife suppammaaL (40) and sons Karuppaiya (21) and ALagar (19) and daughters Chitra and Pappaththi 

 

On the fateful day his wife Suppammal beat him to death using a crowbar 

 

It is alleged that Lakshsmanan was an alocoholic and used to quarrel with his wife. On the fateful day he is alleged to have come home drunk and quarrelled with his wife. He is further alleged to have kicked his wife. Angered by this his wife took a crowbar lying at home and beat up Lakshmanan severely ...

 

Lakshmanan bleed to death on the spot

 

Based on the complaint given by Town president, Kannappan, police rushed to the spot and took possession of Kanappan's body 

They have arrested Suppammal and are conducting inquiry

விராலிமலையில் பயங்கரம் கடப்பாரையால் அடித்து 'போதை' கணவன் கொலை மனைவி கைது

விராலிமலை:விராலிமலையில் குடித்து விட்டு வந்து தகராறு செய்த கணவனை கடப்பாரையால் அடித்துக் கொன்ற மனைவி கைது செய்யப்பட்டார்.

புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம் விராலிமலை அருகே அகரப்பட்டி ஊராட்சி மேலஇன்பம்பட்டியை சேர்ந்தவர் லட்சுமணன் (45), கூலித் தொழிலாளி. இவரது மனைவி சுப்பம்மாள் (40). இவர்களது மகன்கள் கருப்பையா (21), அழகர் (19), மகள்கள் சித்ரா, பாப்பாத்தி. 

லட்சுமணன், குடிப்பழக்கம் கொண்டவர். சம்பாதிக்கும் பணத்தை குடித்தே அழித்து விடுவார். போதையில் வீட்டு வரும் அவர், மனைவியிடம் தகராறு செய்வார். இதனால் கணவன், மனைவி இடையே அடிக்கடி சண்டை ஏற்பட்டு வந்தது. நேற்றிரவும் லட்சுமணன் குடித்துவிட்டு வந்தார். இதை மனைவி தட்டி கேட்டார். இதனால் இருவருக்கும் தகராறு ஏற்பட்டது. அப்போது லெட்சுமணன் மனைவியை அடித்து உதைத்துள்ளார். 

ஆத்திரமடைந்த சுப்பம்மாள் வீட்டில் கிடந்த கடப்பாரையை எடுத்து கணவனை சரமாரியாக தாக்கினார். இதில் தலை மற்றும் முகத்தில் பலத்த காயமடைந்த லெட்சுமணன் ரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் அதே இடத்தில் துடிதுடித்து இறந்தார்.

ஊராட்சி தலைவர் கண்ணப்பன் கொடுத்த புகாரின்பேரில் விராலிமலை போலீஸ் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ரவீந்திரபிரகாஷ் மற்றும் போலீசார் அங்கு சென்று விசாரணை நடத்தினர். பின்னர் லட்சுமணனின் உடலை கைப்பற்றி பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்கு மணப்பாறை அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரிக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர்.
மேலும் வழக்கு பதிந்து சுப்பம்மாளை கைது செய்து விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்.
