After marriage Parthiban went abroad during which time Sumathy went to her parent's house at Kumarapalayam
Recently Parthiban (husband) returned to India and Sumathy went to her in laws house
It is alleged that she was tortured for additional dowry by her in laws and husband
Based on her complaint , husband Parthiban, Father Appadurai, Mothere Kaausalya and relative Navaumar have been booked in a dowry case by Palani All woman police

பழநி :ஒட்டன்சத்திரம் சிந்தலவாடம்பட்டியைச் சேர்ந்த அப்பாதுரை மகன் பார்த்திபன்,34. இவரது மனைவி சுமதி, 28. இவர்களுக்கு திருமணமாகி 10 மாதங்களாகிறது. பார்த்திபன் வெளிநாட்டிற்கு சென்றதால், சுமதி பழநி அருகே குமாரபாளையத்திலுள்ள தாயார் வீட்டில் இருந்தார். பார்த்திபன் திரும்பிவந்ததால், சுமதி, கணவர் வீட்டிற்கு சென்றார். அங்கு, சுமதியிடம் கூடுதல் நகைகேட்டு, பார்த்திபன் மற்றும் அவரது தந்தை, தாய் மற்றும் உறவினர்கள் கொடுமை செய்துள்ளனர்.
சுமதி புகாரில், பார்த்திபன், அவரது தந்தை அப்பாதுரை, தாயார் கவுசல்யா, உறவினர் நவகுமார் ஆகிய 4 பேர் மீது, பழநி அனைத்து மகளிர் போலீசார் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்தன
