Police have arrested a husband accused of dowry torture
Ayyanaar (31), resident of Othiyaththur village, near thirukkovilur , married married vijayalakshmi (25) , approx 10 years ago
They have two children out of wedlock
At this stage it is alleged that Ayyanar (the husband) demanded and attacked vijayalakshmi (the wife) for rs 50000 dowry and sent her away to her (parent?) house
When Vijayalakshmi questioned this , the father in law Arumugam and relative Paavaadai have abused Vijayalakshmi and threatened to kill her
Based on Vijayalakshmi's complaint thirukkovilur all woman police have arrested the husband ayyanar and booked three people in a dowry case

திருக்கோவிலூர்:வரதட்சணை கொடுமை செய்த வாலிபரை போலீசார் கைது செய்தனர்.திருக்கோவிலூர் அடுத்த ஒதியத்தூர் கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் அய்யனார்,(31). இவரது மனைவி விஜயலட்சுமி, (25). கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் திருமணமான இவர்களுக்கு, தற்போது இரண்டு குழந்தைகள் உள்ளனர். இந்நிலையில் 50 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வரதட்சணை வாங்கி வருமாறு கூறி அய்யனார் தனது மனைவியை தாக்கி தாய் வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டார். இதனை தட்டிக்கேட்ட விஜயலட்சுமியை, அவரது மாமனார் ஆறுமுகம், உறவினர் பாவாடை ஆகியோர் திட்டி, கொலை மிரட்டல் விடுத்தனர்.இது குறித்த புகாரின் பேரில் திருக்கோவிலூர் மகளிர் போலீசார் மூன்று பேர் மீதும் வழக்குப் பதிந்து அய்யனாரை கைது செய்தனர்.
