As most readers may know alcohol is sold by the the government of Tamil Nadu !!! Men and WOMEN are known to buy this in large quantities, drink it and be happy .... However IF men drink this and their wife complains against them, the husband is promptly locked up and a dowry case filed on many on the family . As readers may know, Domestic Violence cases have been added to the arsenal recently, wherever large sums of money are involved
Having completed that short preamble, lets look at the case on hand
Husband arrested on wife's dowry complaint
Savriammal (30) is the daughter of Mr. Gyanaprakasham , resident of Irunthai Villai, Ulundurpettai Taluk, Tamil Nadu. She is married to Santhiyagu (36), resident of Muthananguppam village, Vvirudhachalam Taluk. the marriage was solemnised during August 2006. they have two sons, Sanjay (7) and Sarveen (3)
It is alleged that Santhiyagu was consuming alcohol and NOT working or earning money
Santhiyagu also suspected the Character of Savariammal who was doing coolie work
Savariammal had returned to her parent's house sixx months ago
it is alleged that Santhiyagu also demanded 50000 dowry and attacked / beat up savariammal
based on savariammal's complaint all woman police have registered a case and arrested the husband . police have also filed a case on husband's brothers Anthonysamy, Mariajohn , mothere in law mocharakkini and mother in law's sister Elisabeth !!

உளுந்தூர்பேட்டை தாலுகா இருந்தை கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஞானபிரகாசம் மகள் சவரியம்மாள்(30). இவருக்கும் விருத்தாசலம் தாலுகா முத்தனங்குப்பம் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த சந்தியாகு(36), என்பவருக்கும் கடந்த 2006ம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 6ம் தேதி திருமணம் நடந்தது.
திருமணத்தின்போது 12 சவரன் நகை, பீரோ, கட்டில் உள்ளிட்ட சீர்வரிசை பொருட்களை மணமகள் வீட்டார் வழங்கினர்.
தற்போது சந்தியாகு, சவரியம்மாள் தம்பதிக்கு சஞ்சய்(7), சர்வீன்(3) ஆகிய இரு மகன்கள் உள்ளனர்.
இதற்கிடையே சந்தியாகு, வேலைக்கு செல்லாமல் சீர்வரிசை மற்றும் வீட்டில் இருந்த பொருட்களை விற்று மது குடித்து விட்டு, மனைவியிடம் தகராறு செய்து வந்தார்.
கூலி வேலைக்கு செல்லும் சவரியம்மாள் நடத்தையில் சந்தேகப்பட்டு, தகராறு செய்து வந்தார். தாய் வீட்டிலிருந்து 50 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் பணம், 5 சவரன் நகையை வரதட்சணையாக வாங்கி வருமாறு, மனை வியை துன்புறுத்தி உள் ளார்.
இதனால் சவரியம்மாள் கடந்த 6 மாதங்களுக்கு முன் தாய் வீட்டிற்கு சென்று வசித்து வருகிறார். அங்கு சென்று, சந்தியாகு தகராறு செய்தார்.
இது குறித்து சவரியம்மாள் உளுந்தூர்பேட்டை மகளிர் போலீசில் புகார் கொடுத்தார். அதன்பேரில் சந்தியாகு, சகோதரர்கள் அந்தோணிசாமி, மரியஜான், மாமியார் மோச்சர்ராகனி, சின்ன மாமியார் எலிசபெத் ஆகியோர் மீது வழக்குப் பதிந்தனர்.
இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் மோகன சுந்தரி, சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் சுமதி மற்றும் போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தி, சந்தியாகுவை கைது செய்தனர்.
